Suicides account for most gun deaths: you hear about 30,000 gun-related deaths each year and you think, “It’s the Wild West out there, man!” But 60% of those are suicides, which puts a different spin on violence in America.
Packing like a Pro: wow, this is an eye opener about what is possible in packing.
Booksellers claim to have found Shakespeare’s annotated dictionary: this one is hard to believe. 1) did he provably own a copy of that book? 2) did he write in the margins of other books he owned? 3) are the marks consistent with other margin-writers of his day (if people actually did it that long ago)? The underlining, to me, seems modern—not twentieth-century or anything but at least eighteenth. They have a book documenting their discovery and making the case, as well as original scans on their site.

How to Cut Tomatoes Like a Ninja – Cooking Hack: I don’t often need to cut that many tomatoes but I like the thinking behind it. (Just like the use of a tire to hold cut wood together.)
