“Kill Bill”: the story of a grad student who tried to return some Microsoft software and couldn’t so he sold it on eBay. This caused Microsoft hundreds of thousands of dollars in irreparable damage, which they naturally took to court. Except that they picked the wrong guy. People eat up David and Goliath stories.
